Two planned brooms
Reedwing is the working entry-broom name; Silverwing is the advanced one. Entry materials are supported wood/fibre and binding essence. The advanced version additionally needs a runic fitting and control essence. Exact quantities, complete assembly recipes and final handling values are not yet specified.
Both are intended for continuous controlled flight, slower than boosted elytra. The advanced broom has modest handling/speed improvements, not an unrelated control scheme. There is no fuel or mana bar.
Flight must fit an ordinary Java client
The exact mount, dismount and steering inputs have not yet been specified or qualified. There is no confirmed keyboard layout or working flight camera to describe yet. Both brooms should share the same basic controls once those are established.
Flight must respect claims, protected structures, combat restrictions and safe terrain-generation limits. It is not a way around a locked claim or a promise to reveal an unexplored atlas. The powerful elytra-replacement reward is still undecided; neither broom has been chosen for it.
