The Java client and resource pack
Planned feature
The server resource pack will show wand materials, plant stages and machine states.
An ordinary client, with a required pack
Malfoid is planned for ordinary unmodded Minecraft Java clients with a server resource pack. The pack matters because wand construction, plant stages and machine states need recognizable appearances. No client mod or shader is promised as a requirement for useful Lumos lighting.
If the pack cannot load
The intended policy is clear retry help and return/disconnect before gameplay access when the pack is declined or fails. It should not let you spend ingredients on invisible machines. Connection instructions and a public join address are not available yet; these are the planned pack-loading rules, not download instructions.
Workshop visuals should distinguish idle, heating, processing, ready and blocked, while sounds or other cues make a cast, failed cast, finished craft and familiar retreat understandable. These visual and sound cues are planned; not all models or animations are complete.
About the Wiki pictures
The Wiki uses written names and ingredients for now. There are no genuine gameplay captures ready for these guides, and AI artwork or model-editor pictures would not show the real items in use. The website’s decorative framing is not a gameplay preview.
